About us

The company Tehnofood d.o.o. was established in 2009 (until 2016 under the company Tehnomes d.o.o.) and operates at Poslovni Park Karlovac 4B, 47250 Belajske Poljice. The purpose and the goal of the founding was to form the technological technical center for the area of the former Yugoslavia, as well as the breakthrough and positioning of spice and additives for the meat industry, MProFood from Hungary, on the market of the region.

Tehnofood is strongly committed to the partner company MproFood from Pécs, Hungary, with which it has exclusive contract on representation and provision of technical and technical support services for Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro and Albania.

Our goal is developing of distribution network and brand positioning in Croatia and in the countries of the region.

Since the beginning of 2010, distribution of goods was established in Croatia and Slovenia through our wholesale warehouse, and in Bosnia and Herzegovina through exclusive distributor for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Euroklas d.o.o. company, from Velika Kladuša. In 2016, the distribution of goods for Albania and Kosovo was established through the exclusive distributor for Albania, Avantgard sp.h.k company from Tirana.

The MProFood company, our exclusive distributor, is the manufacturer of spices and additives for the meat industry with an annual production capacity of around 10,000 tons of finished products, and since the beginning of 2017, liquid smoke and smoke condensates and aromas. With its own, modernly-equipped laboratory that takes care of the safety and quality of products, and with it the closely related product development and technological innovations sector, as its own drive for testing of functional, organoleptic and sensory properties of the product, MProFood is able to respond to every market demand. In addition to being in production implemented international standards of quality control and health food safety, ISO 9001, HACCP, HALALL, FSSC, MProFood has developed and designed its own electronic production management system, which ensures complete control of production from the beginning to the end of the production process. Besides the Croatian and Bosnia and Herzegovina, MProFood is present in the market of North Africa, USA, European Union, and in the markets of Ukraine, Belarus, Romania, Slovakia, Poland and Russia where the new manufacturing facility for spices and additives was opened in 2017.

From June 2016 Tehnofood is also the exclusive representative and distributor for Croatia, the multinational company Viscofan S.A. headquartered in Pamplona, Spain. The Viscofan company is the world's largest producer of all types of artificial casings with about 4,500 employees, production facilities on all continents, and annual sales of nearly one billion euros.
